Volunteer Opportunities
National Development Foundation
NDEF is adopting “Virtual volunteering” to complete volunteer tasks, in whole or in
part, via the internet and a home or work computer. This could also be referred to
as online volunteering, cyber service, telementoring, teletutoring and various other
names. We do not mean to substitute it for traditional “in person” volunteering, but
we are using virtual volunteering to add to the quantity of service and providing
more ways for people to support our organization. This serves as an additional way
of contributing time and talent to our work. Our virtual volunteering programme is
done in addition to welcoming on-site volunteers. The designation of assignments would depend on the level of virtuality and availability of in person volunteers.
Apart from on-site volunteer activities, NDEF needs virtual volunteers to provide technical assistance in areas such as: conducting online research, provision of professional consulting expertise, conducting online outreach and advocacy, designour newsletter or brochure, edit our publications or proposals, translate a document into another language and prepare information for our web site.
